//3877 Welcomes Seasoned Talent to Expanding A&D Team

Renowned architecture and design firm //3877 announces the addition of three accomplished industry professionals to the team: Interior Designer Abigail Fundling, Architect Caroline Zimmermann and Senior Interior Designer Christina Kerr. The talented new hires bring a wealth of experience and fresh perspectives to //3877, further bolstering the firm’s diverse group of leaders.

"We are thrilled to welcome Abigail, Caroline and Christina to //3877,” shares Partner Ryan Petyak. “We believe their diverse backgrounds will inspire forward-thinking design solutions across various projects. Bringing in this new wave of senior talent is integral in expanding our business capabilities and strengthening a company culture built on teamwork.”

Abigail Fundling joins the team as an Interior Designer/Senior Innovator, focusing mostly on hotel and restaurant projects. With a rich background in designing boutique hospitality, high-end residential and food and beverage projects, Abigail brings extensive experience and a creative eye to //3877. After receiving her BFA in Painting and Printmaking from Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts and later returning for her MFA in Interior Design, her exciting journey from a professional artist to a lead designer at Gensler has equipped her with a unique blend of creative and technical expertise.

After receiving a Master of Architecture from Tulane University, Caroline Zimmermann quickly made her mark as one of the youngest females to be a licensed architect in Washington, D.C. Taking on the role of Architect/Senior Innovator at //3877, Caroline’s responsibilities will include the development of hospitality and health and wellness projects, from planning stages to construction. With five years of industry experience, Caroline’s familiarity with multi-family and hospitality projects, coupled with her hands-on approach and passion for hard work, positions her as a valuable asset to the firm’s growing portfolio. Caroline is most excited to work on high-caliber designs with a team that cares about the fine details.

Bringing her vast background as a multifaceted interior designer to the team, Christina Kerr joins //3877 as a Senior Interior Designer/Senior Innovator. She has always been drawn to this industry due to her eye for style and her passion for geometry, color, and the way design enriches life through storytelling. With a portfolio of award-winning projects and published work, along with her impeccable attention to detail, Christina will be leading hospitality projects at //3877, managing project details, communicating with clients and building workflow automation. “I intend to push the boundaries of design to create a one-of-a-kind experience for each client while having fun along the way,” says Christina.

As //3877 evolves its portfolio, the team remains committed to achieving excellence in architecture and design. With the addition of new talent and a steadfast focus on innovation, //3877 is poised to take on even more ambitious projects, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration and excellence.
